Udesign your life


Wealth is more than money.
Shahil Bloom in his book " The 5 types of Wealth" shares these ideas as part of his definition of wealth.
Time Wealth
1. Have a deep awareness that time is finite.
2. Know 2 or 3 priorities of personal and professional life.
3. Constantly direct your attention to these priorities.
4. Don't be too busy to ignore these priorities.
5. Remember you are in control of your calendar and priorities.
Social Wealth
1. Create a core group of supportive relationships.
2. This lets people be consistently able to be a partner, parent, family member and friend to this core group.
3. Create a group of loose friendships that you can call on from time to time for specific reasons.
4. Have a deep feeling of connection to a community so you can have a feeling that you are part of something bigger than yourself.
5. Remember adding big purchases does not increase your social wealth.
Mental Wealth
1. Embrace curiosity.
2. Have a clear purpose that provides daily meaning and aligns short- and long - term decisions.
3. Pursue growth and consistently chase your full potential.
4. Have a fundamental belief that you are consistently changing, developing and adapting which helps you chase your full potential.
5. Have regular rituals that allow you to create space to think, reset, wrestle with questions, and recharge.
Physical Wealth
1. Feel strong, healthy, and vital for your age.
2. Move your body regularly through a structured routine and have an active physical life.
3. Eat primarily whole, unprocessed foods.
4. Sleep seven or more hours per nights on a regular basis and feel rested and recovered.
5. Have a clear plan in place to allow yourself to physically thrive into your later years.
Financial Wealth
1. Have a clear definition of what it means to have enough financially.
2. Have income that is steadily growing alongside your skills and expertise.
3. Manage your monthly expenses so that they are reliably below your income.
4. Have a clear process for investing excessive monthly income.
5. Use financial wealth as a tool to build other types of wealth.
