Let's get started...
by declaring one thing you know you like to do.
For some time I have known that I like to ... Arrive on Time (Time Management)
I used to be someone who arrived late. Then I realized arriving lated enhanced my anxiety and made me stand out in the group. Almost overnight I changed. It took a lot of work/ planning but at the end of the day, I realized I was already had been doing the work but in a negative way. Now I know what to do and when to it so I can arrive on time. It is a list of about 50 items. Every time I do them, it gets faster and automatic (know as automaticity - do things without even knowing you are doing them). Some of the skills can be compiled and are similar to skills done to complete other goals. Each time this happens it be comes even more fun with automaticity becoming more apparent.
Here is a abridged example...
Drive from Point A to Point B - use google for quickest route
List items that might affect time - weather, traffic. time of day
Do you need things like gas - yes/ no
How long will it take and what do you need to do in order to leave on time?
Add all this time and project the time one needs to leave Point A to get to Point B.
Currently it takes me anywhere from one half to an hour and half to prepare for a day trip.
